Makayla was great with my rental! She was funny, upbeat and made the experience super quick. She was understanding of people falling on hard times and wasnt afraid to share enough of herself to be relatable. You can tell she has a genuine love for people and takes a lot of pride in her facility, which by the way is great. The facility is very large and Makayla is willing to show you around to any size and get you into the size you really need. It was a pleasure renting from Grass Valley Self Storage

I have used the Grass Valley Storage and the one in Auburn LOP. There is NO comparison! Rick in GV is the best! He is so kind and tries to work with families to try and get their personal items back to them in difficult times! Not the same with the Auburn LOP Storage! I was never notified that my husband hadn't paid for three months! It was my families things that I had kept for 63 years which I unfortunately stored there in LOP! I paid the storage for 14 year's at the LOP Location. I told James to contact me NOT my husband! James LIED to me! I am writing a review on the Auburn site and it's NOT a good one! But, you can trust Rick at the GV location. That's why I gave him five stars!

Seems like our rates go up every month or so. Stuff stays dry at least... Always heavy some dust on top of my stuff so bag or cover everything! Aside from the rate increases the storage is fine...

Parking near my unit is on a slant which I don't like. And it's very dark in the storage unit. I'm going to need to bring a battery operated lantern so I can see what Im Doing. I'm afraid my belongings might get damp and moldy in there. I'll probably move storages at the end of the month. Customer service is semi friendly

Don't do business with this storage. They keep raising there rates up. In less then a year they have raised there rates. In t went from $250.00 to #268.00 now they are raising it to $309.00 a month. They did not raise there rates at there Auburn location. I think they want you to lose your stuff so they can auction it off. I asked them if they have auctions here and they told me it is there goal to have one ever 2 months. That tell's me that they want you to lose everything you have. To me it is just being greedy for more money. If I could afford to move to another storage place, I would. Do your self a favor and save your self money and don't rent here. They don't care about customers just how much money they can make. So sad.

Expensive, and they dont keep the same employees. There was a sweet girl who was working here now shes gone. This town is too expensive and no one can afford anything. Everyone is hooked on drugs...sad, sad, sad

The very WORSE storage I have ever dealt with. They will try to rip a customer off every way possible...no matter what...no exceptions. Their security is a joke as there is a hole in the fence that goes around the storage in which people have gotten into the facility after hours..they've even had ppl camp out there because of it. If you are going to use this facility make sure you read all their fine print as they can and will change their policies at any time to suite their needs. They need to have a lawsuit filed against them. They are nothing but theives.

This place has really gone downhill in the past few months. Extra fees all the time, no management available to talk to, they just add fees and you have to pay them if you want to keep your stuff. Not good.
