Kate Hudson Finds Sweater Made By Goldie Hawn In Storage Unit

When it comes to style, vintage finds are a timeless wardrobe staple. And they’re even better if they’re made by your mom — and even better if your mom happens to be famous. Kate Hudson agrees, and shared herself wearing a nostalgic high school throwback piece on Instagram last night.

The 37-year-old actress and daughter of Goldie Hawn went digging through her (pretty massive) storage unit and uncovered an old old favorite: a hand-knit blue striped sweater her mom made for her, which was a staple in her teenage wardrobe. She threw on the find, and gave her ’90s top a modern twist with a hippie headband, skinny jeans and fall-appropriate gray suede booties.

“Going through storage I found all sorts of gems but my favorite was the sweater Mama Goldie knit me when I was a teenager. Bringing this bad boy out again ???,” Hudson wrote on her Instagram post.
