I've been renting from storage mart for a couple months and have friends and family that rent as well. They're very accommodating and it's been a great experiwnce:) I highly recommend storage mart!!!

Thanks for the opportunity to provide my review. My opportunity with Storage Mart was great; I have been with them now, around 6-months. My moving in experience was great, they were very organized and accommodating and i love my storage space. Easy access when I needed to get things at odd hours. Rent could be a little lower but wasn't outrageous. Staff were always helpful and friendly. Would use them again.

I had a very pleasant experience with customer service today. The representative's name was William and he was so friendly and helped me make a payment and set up an auto billing from my bank account. So nice to hear that he was still up beat on a friday late afternoon. Thanks William for being so friendly. J Day

It was a disaster from the day I moved in. Was outright lied to about where the Manager was when it came time to move in. He wasn't even in town! But they kept telling me he was on the premises busy helping someone else. So, for hours I could not get in until they finally got another person from another StorageMart to let me in. They had some promo which got me in there for something like $20. Rates kept going up and it's $178 now for a 10' x 10' unheated storage space. They replaced the doors on the storage units, which allowed a lot of dirt to get in, and now all of my stuff has a nice coating of dirt on it. Had to kill a mouse that got in there leaving droppings everywhere. Am glad to be moving out of there at the end of this month! Follow up: StorageMart came through and refunded me a month's storage fees after reading my review! That certainly goes a long way towards how I feel about the company. I really appreciate it! It was completely unexpected. Thanks again StorageMart!

Was only renting for 8 months. Which was over winter. When it got cold, you needed a hammer to get the door open because the ground shifted so much, and it was a pain to get help with that as I didn't bring any tools thinking I could just go into my unit. What should have been 10min visit was 45 min. I moved out in April/2017 and found TONS mouse droppings all over the back of the unit.Also, I informed them of the move out the middle of March, that I would be gone by the end of April, as they raised my rent, and I was told I would have to call After April 1st to remind him to remove my Credit Card info to not be charged for May. So I did one better. I went in and reminded in person. Well Today is May 1st, and I have a full charge on my credit card. So now I have to deal with them yet again. The manger SEEMED helpful, or at least wanted to be, but the amount of times I've had to call back for non returned calls, or him not doing what he said has pushed me to leave this review

They don't have proper security, the fence for one already had signs of being broken into when I had my vehicle removed from this facility, due to the low fence it and lack of proper security allowed somebody to break into my vehicle stealing the entire radio deck, harness, and bracket, this also caused my rear passenger door handle getting broken because of whoever broke in. They don't hold themselves accountable for issues that happen on their lot and never answered the phone when a call was made to them. Not impressed and I wouldn't recommend this facility to anybody ever.

Upon request to see if they had any units available, which they didn't of the time of request. He was asking me personally what I was storing in there, which I thought was very odd. I told him you don't need to know....

Horrible service, rude & not helpful. Gate is always left open or broken. Units have been broken into, can never reach anyone there, expensive, not worth it.

Overly expensive late fee penalties..... Very poor customer service. I wouldn't recommend renting from them and I certainly won't be renting from them ever again myself.

Well this is a company that needs to get it together. I was told when I got my unit that I would be able to pay online, over the phone, or in person using visa debit and various other methods. I have since found that not to be true. This location is in the middle of no where and since I do not drive I can't necessarily get there around the first. I moved in during the middle of May and I specifically asked, in person, about paying with debit visa and was told absolutely no problem. So with their promo of a month free and my payment of the half month, it was July before my bill was due. Conveniently after having most of my condo in the storage locker. I tried to make the payment as discussed and found that there was no way for me to get my money to them besides in person. Frustrated I spoke to someone in their head office as well as someone at that location cause I couldn't get down there for a few days to pay. They said no problem. Now when I do I find out that the person I spoke to wasn't actually from there and they left no record of the conversation in my file so they tried to charge me extra fees. They also don't tell you you have to pay some mandatory $20.00 insurance fee every month till you sign the aggreement. I've also gone there during business hours on 2 separate and had no one at the location as they had to leave early for whatever reason so I have to pay for a ride there and back 2 times just to deal with one payment. I've requested since I moved in May to have a functional light in the unit as it is 10x20 and when our days are shorter I can't see squat in there. This is December .... Still no light. I was also told when 24 hour access when I called for information but found out it closes at 10 pm when I showed up at 10:20 with a U-Haul full of stuff. I'm a night person and the 24 hour access was kind of important. I was also sent and invoice that had one amount only to look online a week later to see a different amount and after 2 days of arguing with them i find out they messed up on the invoice. Now I have a limited income and struggle as it is and every penny counts so I set aside the invoice amount and when you try to change it later ... That's not right and they don't even take partial payments. It seems that I can't seem to win with these guys and just pay my rent and have a stress free experience. So if you're into headaches this is your place but otherwise find someplace less problematic.

****Be careful with this place. They "forgot" to set up auto billing for me. And upon arrival one day to pick up something from my unit, I was locked out **luckily I just made it within the open hours after work** No phone call, no email, no anything to say it wasn't paid. There have been times I haven't gone to a storage unit in months. I'm sure if that was the case I'd have been here to an auctioned off locker. The staff member was pleasant & happy to help, but I'm definitely thinking of moving out of here asap.

Third time since starting to rent here two months ago, the gate control keypad failed and the gate could not be opened. The office is closed of course and the main contact number cannot reset it remotely. The operator tried calling the property manager who of course did not answer his phone. Unreliable equipment and expensive units... take your business elsewhere.

I received an email reminding me of my check in date and gave me hours of operation from 9 am to 6:30 pm. I had movers scheduled and counted on being able to check in promptly during the business hours listed because I was paying movers based on time. There was nothing listed about lunch hours or the office possibly closing on the email. When I arrived there was a sign on the door saying they would be back at 12 pm. When I called head office they said the manager was running an errand to the bank and would be back shortly. First off, bank runs should not be run during staffed hours or they should at least alert customers in their email that they sometimes step away from the desk and to call ahead to confirm. I don't mind waiting 10-15 mins as I know that things happen and come up that are unavoidable but not only was he not back from the bank by 12 pm I waited 45 mins with my movers! Then proceeded to stand in a 4 person line up to check in. Storage mart cost me over an hour of waiting and about $200 dollars down the drain to movers sitting in the truck doing nothing. Had they just alerted me that sometimes they close briefly during "staffed" hours to run errands I would have had my movers go to the other location first. I was not impressed and was offered nothing but a shrug and a sorry to rectify the situation.

Be aware that only the first row has security cameras. If you chose them there is an extra cost. That's what I was told when I asked. I opted out of that but I should have followed my instincts. Within the first week, my unit was broken into. The lock was cut and many items were stolen.In cluding an irreplaceable ring that held sentimental and monetary value. It was a long weekend. A year passed and it happened again! Another long weekend.The door was pulled out after the entire latch was broken off. Many units had latches pried off. Not to mention that this is not how a person wants to spend a long weekend on top of the violation. Be aware that this facility is on the outskirts of the city. StorageMart sent a rate and review to my email several times after i moved my things out. Be careful what you ask for.

Great service and price. The paving was getting worked on which was inconvenient but it will be fixed soon. The unit was clean and easy to access.

Customer Service here was good, but, I thought if I was out before the middle of the month, I'd get at least half of my rent money back, Difn't happen!...
